About Joseph

Joseph McKelheer was born in 1974 in Yakima, Washington and moved to Anchorage, Alaska at an early age. Joseph attended Colorado State University where he studied finance. During his time at University he travelled back to Alaska each summer to work as a gold miner at the Valdez Creek gold mine in order to earn money to pay for his tuition.
It was during his last year of schooling that he happened to chance upon an audition for a play. It was this serendipitous moment that led to where he is now - acting, directing and producing.

After graduating he spent some time building houses, before moving to Hollywood with his longtime friend Bret Roberts to pursue careers in acting. They have since worked together on several projects.

Joseph and Eben Kostbar run their own production company, Quality Time Productions, and have produced, among other things, the award winning short films “Geldersma” and “Karma Café”. They are currently working on the feature “Hamill”, a drama following the life of Matt Hamill, the first deaf wrestler to win a National Collegiate Wrestling Championship.

As well as the many features and shorts, Joseph has also appeared in Kellie Pickler’s music video for the single Red High Heels and in three commercials for Gap.

In what little spare time he has he enjoys watching movies and reading political books.

Joseph is an Aries, is 5’11 and has blue eyes.
